After high coordination efforts INSAN organization launched a project:Improve resilience and livelihood to farmers through supporting Wheat-Value-Chain at Al Rouj Valley, and food security to IDP’s residing in camps at Ma’aret TmasreenIn the context of enhancing cooperation and coordination and enhancing accountability to the beneficiaries and the local community, INSAN Organization held its second meeting with the local councils and agricultural associations of the villages benefiting from the project. Memoranda of Understanding were signed between INSAN Organization and the representatives of the local community in each village (Local Councils and Agricultural Associations) with the aim of implementing the project with highest possible transparency and quality.In its first phase, the project will benefit 500 farmers in 7 villages in Al-Rouj Valley.In the second phase, 3,850 Households will get free bread at 20 camps in the Ma’aret Tmasreen for 4 months.
